Cyncly acquisition of Smart Glazier: FAQs

Smart Glazier is a dedicated software provider for the flat glass and glazing industry. Our platform empowers glass installers and glass shops manage complex designs, fast quoting, and job management, including ordering, scheduling, and invoicing.

Our focus has always been on making the more difficult parts of glass easier to handle, such as complex deductions and hardware notches, helping users work more accurately and with less manual effort.

Smart Glazier supports glaziers, as well as small fabricators and distributors, through Smart Glazier Design, Smart Glazier Business, and Smart Glazier Connect. Together, these products support the glazing workflow from design and quoting through to job management.

Cyncly already has a strong presence in manufacturing and ERP software for the glass industry. By acquiring Smart Glazier, it is extending that reach further into the installer and contractor space. This acquisition allows us to provide a “field-to-factory-and-back” digital thread, ensuring that the people measuring and selling glass in the field are perfectly synced with the people manufacturing it in the shop.

Smart Glazier helps support that direction by:

• extending Cyncly further into the installer and contractor segment

• strengthening connections between manufacturers, dealers, and contractors

• supporting more connected supplier-contractor workflows

• bringing proven technology, industry knowledge, and long-standing customer relationships into the wider group

The acquisition of Smart Glazier by Cyncly is now complete. As of March 19, 2026, the Smart Glazier team officially became part of the Cyncly group.

Over the coming months, the Cyncly and Smart Glazier teams will work together on integration planning and future development. The focus will be on building on the strengths of both businesses while continuing to support customers and partners.

As part of Cyncly, Smart Glazier will have access to greater resources to help accelerate product development.

This is expected to support:

• deepened integrations, including broader connectivity with FeneVision-powered fabricators

• enhanced features, including increased investment in R&D to support new hardware types, improved design logic, and faster updates

• enhanced stability with the backing of a global organization, while keeping the specialized tools and support team that customers already rely on

Fabricators are expected to benefit from improved order quality coming from the contractor segment.

This may include:

• clean data intake, reducing the need to work from hand-drawn sketches or re-key data, with more validated and production-ready orders 

• reduced scrap by catching more measurement and deduction issues earlier in the process

• stronger customer relationships by giving customers access to professional tools that can make ordering easier and more accurate

The strategy is integration without interruption. Smart Glazier will continue to be developed as a standalone specialist solution for contractors, while native data connections between Smart Glazier and FeneVision are developed over time.

The goal is to create a more seamless end-to-end workflow for businesses that use both.

In the near term, customers should not expect any major day-to-day changes. Existing customers can continue to expect the same support, service, invoicing processes, and key contacts they already know.

Over time, customers should benefit from increased investment in innovation, product development, customer experience, and broader opportunities across the glass ecosystem. We will continue to share updates as new developments become available.
