European customer data is not stored in the USA unless necessary for essential purposes such as backup or disaster recovery, in which case the USA services are provided by organisations who are enlisted in the Data Privacy Framework List.

Many of these third-party services are only applicable for customers who have signed up for and use the relevant software integration. Furthermore, in most cases the third-party services only receive very limited information.

We employ and contract with people and organisations that perform business tasks on our behalf (“Agents”). We may share your information with our Agents in order to provide the service. Agents do not retain any right to use your information beyond what is necessary to carry out the tasks we designate for them.

5. Data Processing and Marketing Practices

Smart Glazier Software collects and processes your personal information under the following legal grounds:

6. Smart Glazier Software and the Smart-Glazier App

Smart Glazier Software enables our customers to maintain their customer records inside the software.

In these cases, our customer is the data controller and Smart Glazier Software is the data processor.

In cases where a customer terminates their contract with Smart Glazier Software services, the data they have collected may be securely retained. The retention of this data is to ensure that a record is maintained and available, upon request, to address any customer requests, including but not limited to design records, warranty claims, and reissuing of documentation.

The Smart-Glazier app is a free Freemium service. This service is provided by Smart Glazier Software at no cost and is intended for use as is.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The personal information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We might collect certain non-personal information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile operating system, your network service provider and information about the way you use the Application.
